One of the most important tasks when it comes to finishing an interior design project is wall decor. This is usually the last phase to completion of the project and can be difficult if you don’t take the right steps. After finding the perfect art/ decor to garnish your walls, the very first step should be to make sure the hardware on your art is attached securely and evenly. Determining this is somewhat simple, just take a standard tape measure and measure from the top of the art to the top of the hardware, if the measurements are the same then your hardware is even. If the measurements are not the same the art will not be level, unless you do some serious measure work on the wall to adjust to the uneven hardware which can cause multiple holes and take more time than desired. On the other end, a simple test if the hardware is attached securely is to test the screws on the arts hardware itself, to do this just take your drill or screw driver and try screwing in the screw, if it feels tight and doesn’t spin out, then the hardware is good and secure. Once the hardware on your art is attached properly you can begin your wall decor project smoothly and efficiently.
