Today’s blog is about a wall art installation we did for the corporate offices of Dell in Round Rock, Texas.
First we carefully unpacked the boxes and made sure all the art pieces were accounted for and in good condition. Then we unpacked and laid out the artist’s paper template. After inspecting the template for any flaws we proceeded to center the stencil on the wall by attaching it with painters tape. With this type of art installation it is very important to make sure the paper stencil stays level and flat on the wall so the grouping doesn’t change from the artist’s intended design. Once we had the template on the wall, we then mark through the paper onto the wall to match the design.
After the layout design is transferred to the wall, each art object gets attached to the wall individually to match the artist’s design perfectly.
