These 6 individual pieces by the artist Soledad Fernandez were each 9′ tall by 5′ wide, however combined they stretch a massive 30′ wide. Our team first added hardware on each piece exactly the same on each for ease of measuring on the wall. Then placed our ladders strategically where we needed them to ascend the stairs as the left side needed our 24′ ladders fully extended to reach our wall side hardware. Measuring out each piece one by one from left to right to maximize efficiency, the pieces weren’t particularly heavy, so our team simply used screws, anchors and mirror clips. We found our desired height, centering the pieces top to bottom, and left to right on the wall space, the tricky part was get each piece to seamlessly touch one another and to look level within the lines it created on the wall space. After about 5 hours of hard work, 2 of our installers and the owner of the company Tommy Fosters’ diligence, we got all pieces mounted on the wall exactly how the artist envisioned her work. The result, a beautiful masterpiece sure to catch the eye of anyone.
