Today we will be breaking down an art installation we did for the corporate offices of Dell in Round Rock,Texas.
While carefully unpacking the boxes and making sure all art pieces are accounted for we then laid out a paper stencil measuring 13‘ x 5 1/2‘.
Inspecting the template for any altercations or flaws we then proceeded to center the stencil on the wall attaching it with painters tape.
It was very important to make sure the stencil stayed level on the wall so the grouping didn’t bow or drop off at the end.
Once we had the template on the wall we then continued with marking and punching through the paper giving us a perfect layout on the wall identical to the stencil.
Since the artist was going for a more scattered grouping we didn’t need to worry about each individual piece being level itself or to another. The stencil gave us perfect spacing as seen in the pictures.
